Banana Pomegranate Smoothie

This simple but extremely delicious Smoothie made of banana and pomegranates is a perfect energy and health booster! Banana is rich of potassium and vitamin B6, fibre and carbohydrates and the pomegranate supplies you with loads of antioxidantes and vitamin C.  It tastes even more heavenly when pimped with SAL de IBIZA Granito con Flores 😍

Ingredients
  • 2 pc bananas
  • 1 pc pomegranate
  • 150 g Yogurt or Soya Yogurt
  • 2 tsp honey to sweeten (optional)
  • 3 pcs dates to sweeten (optional)
  • 1 pinch SAL de IBIZA Granito con Flores
  • 1/2 cup water
Instructions
  1. Cut the pomegranate into 4 (or more) pieces
  2. Fill a bowl with cool water. Break apart the pomegranate underneath the water. Seperate the seed from the aril.
  3. Keep some seeds for decoration and put the rest together with the water into a blender and pulse a few times until seeds release the juice (blending everything will make it bitter)
  4. Strain the juice into a jar
  5. Put the remaining juice into the blender and add banana yogurt and honey or dates if you want to sweeten it
  6. Mix everything for a couple of seconds until smooth
  7. Pour into a glass and decorate with a few pomegranate seeds and banana slices
  8. Pimp it with some SAL de IBIZA Granito con Flores
  9. For vegan variant: skip the yogurt, it tastes great, too.
