The salt we use for the mill (Spanish: "Molinillo") is called Molino – it’s SAL de IBIZA’s coarsest salt and has a rock candy-like texture. Like all our salts, this sea salt is a pure, natural product – free from bleaching agents or additives, and particularly rich in natural minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, fluoride, selenium, and iodine.
In this new version, we’ve combined Molino with the fresh flavor of sun-ripened lemon and the mild heat of green pepper – a unique, delicate blend that adds a Mediterranean flair to any dish. Whether sprinkled over grilled chicken or oven-baked fish – this mix delivers a fresh, mildly spicy note. It’s like Ibiza: summer, sunshine, and sea on your plate – a true zest for life.
Since our Molino salt – like all our natural varieties – retains a certain level of moisture, we use a durable ceramic grinder. To avoid the use of a vertical metal shaft, we’ve designed the mill with an “upside-down” mechanism: the salt crystals fall directly into the grinder. The glass container is removable and dishwasher-safe, and the top is made of oiled beech wood.
