Christmas Stars: Butter Cookies a »La Vie en Rose«

Butter Cookies a la Vie en Rose

Ingredientes
  • 325 g fine white flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 10 g SAL de IBIZA Fleur de Sel
  • approx. 50 drops natural rose essence
  • 5 g rose petals for decoration
  • approx. 10 g melted butter
Instrucciones
  1. Add the fine white flour with sugar and Fleur de Sel into a bowl and mix it
  2. add butter (in small pieces) and natural rose essence
  3. blend all ingredients together and work the dough thoroughly by hand until it becomes homogenous and elastic. (The warm temperature of the hands will produce a dough that is not sticky)
  4. roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is approximately 0,5 cm thick.
  5. cut out star forms or whatever form you prefer
  6. make sure you pre-heat your oven approximately 10-15 minutes before baking your cookies. Then bake the cookies for approximately 12 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees
  7. coat the fresh cookies (when still warm from the oven) with some melted butter and decorate them with rose petals
