Fig toast “Isla Blanca” with SAL de IBIZA

Sweet, ripe figs, crispy toasted sourdough bread, and the aromatic "Granito con Hierbas" from SAL de IBIZA. Fresh herbs and a hint of salt transform a few ingredients into an exclusive culinary experience—perfect as an appetizer, brunch, or fine snack.

Vorbereitung 10 minutes
Kochzeit 5 minutes
Portionen For 4 toasts

Zutaten

  • 4 thick slices of good sourdough bread or fig and nut bread
  • 8–10 fresh, ripe figs
  • 2 tablespoons mild olive oil
  • 2–3 sprigs of fresh thyme or lemon thyme
  • 2 porcelain spoons SAL de IBIZA “Granito con Hierbas”
  • Optional: 100g goat's cheese or ricotta (for extra creaminess)
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Anleitung

  1. Brush the bread slices with olive oil and toast them in a hot pan or on the grill until golden brown on both sides
  2. Wash and dry the figs and cut them into thick slices
  3. Spread the warm bread slices with goat's cheese or ricotta as desired
  4. Fan out the fig slices and spread them generously on the bread
  5. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over it
  6. Season with SAL de IBIZA “Granito con Hierbas” and freshly ground pepper
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy
